Job summary

RowanEDC Partnership is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move materials between inventory and production,maintain records, and support production schedules. You will prepare and label goods, assist with bottlenecks, and help maintain a clean, organized yard and inventory areas.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company policies, and participation in CI programs. Relevant licensing and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade basic education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods and label materials.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklists and report issues.
• Maintain organized rough material and finished goods inventory yard.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other programs.
