Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. in Tuscumbia, AL is seeking a full-time forklift operator to support our YellaWood operations.

You will operate an industrial forklift truck to move, stack, and load lumber and materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a shift from 3PM to 11PM Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, prior forklift experience, and the ability to work safely around heavy equipment; lumber knowledge is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus!

Aufgaben

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.
