Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position with competitive pay and full benefits. Responsibilities include moving pallets, loading/unloading, stacking and inventory checks on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.
