General Mills, Inc. seeks a Logistics Technician – Fork Truck Driver at our Buffalo, NY plant. This role features 8-hour rotating shifts with first, second, and third shift options and requires forklift experience. Starting pay is $30.15/hour with additional pay for 2nd ($0.34) and 3rd shift ($0.41).

The position emphasizes loading/unloading, safety checks, recordkeeping, and operating our Warehouse Management System, with opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse/forklift experience needed.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and railcars using approved methods.
• Record checks (metal detector, magnet checks, safety inspections) accurately.
• Communicate with Shop Checker, railroad, Logistics Planner, and Team Leader.
• Operate Warehouse Management System.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning of loading areas and equipment.
• Assist with training of new employees and support other plant areas as needed.
