Job summary

Performance Team in Gardner, KS seeks a warehouse supervisor-level talent to lead a 10+ person team. You will read production schedules and orders to move items, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure adherence to TSA/OSHA safety rules in a fast-paced setting.

You will coordinate materials flow, sort stock for assembly, and process requisitions for production. The role requires leadership and a commitment to safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
  • Reads production schedules, orders, and work instructions to determine items to move.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment following defined procedures.
  • Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
  • Follow TSA and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
  • Read schedules and customer orders to determine items to move or distribute.
  • Safely operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Convey materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
  • Sort and place materials on racks according to predetermined criteria.
  • Fill requisitions and distribute items to production workers.
  • Assemble customer orders and prepare for packing/shipping.

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within warehouse by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include ability to lead, motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

$23.00 an hour
