Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee a 10+ person team in a busy warehouse environment in the United States. The role involves interpreting schedules, directing material flow, and ensuring safety and accuracy in all processes.

You will operate forklift equipment, manage stock, and coordinate with shipping and receiving to ensure timely order fulfillment. Prior supervisory experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 0–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading a warehouse team is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 10+ employees in warehouse operations.
• Read production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move or distribute.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jacks.
• Convey materials and items to storage or designated areas.

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within warehouse by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include ability to lead, motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

$23.00 an hour
