Job summary

Pilkington North America Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for direct and indirect materials, receiving, shipping and stores tasks. The role includes loading/unloading, maintaining FIFO, and entering data in SAP.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience driving a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Prior work experience in shipping, storeroom and warehouse environment.
• Microsoft Office experience highly preferred.
• Safety and goal oriented.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for correct and timely shipment to customers.
• Entering data in SAP and purchasing spreadsheets.
• Properly storing and entering rack locations for racks throughout the plant.
• Keep record of issues and receipts and reconcile with production paperwork and investigate and resolve differences.
• Responsible for load and unload of trucks in a timely manner.
• Ensure FIFO when pulling racks for shipment or storing finished goods.
• Responsible for pulling and preparing loads for shipment.
• Rotating stock per FIFO and other customer requirements.
• Complete required paperwork and ASN’s accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for cycle counts on weekly bases, of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for shipments loaded properly according to customer demand and pick list.
