Job summary

Specialty Building Products in Nashville, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely load, unload, sort and move products within a fast-paced warehouse, following safety policies at all times.

You will operate forklifts, read tickets and codes, pull daily orders, and collaborate with Supervisors to maintain accuracy and timely service, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year warehouse distribution experience.
• Prior lumber experience desired.
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, stage, transport and handle products.
• Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and timely order pulling.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Read tickets and product codes; assist with inventory accuracy.
