Job summary

Travero in Fairfax, IA is seeking a Material Handler I to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, move product, and support inventory accuracy. You will work indoors and outdoors with temperature exposure, following safety practices and using WMS/ERP systems to manage data and workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years of forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS or ERP systems is desirable.
• Food-grade environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
• Secures trailers to docks and communicates trailer details to office.
• Loads/unloads trailers, trucks and rail cars while protecting product.
• Performs inventory tracking and audits; maintains accuracy.
• Adheres to procedures and safety standards; participates in sanitation and rework as needed.
