Job summary

Travero is seeking a Material Handler II to join a fast-paced, safety‑minded team. The role operates bulk material handling equipment and moves product between trailers, railcars and buildings, indoors and outdoors, with exposure to temperature extremes and dusty environments.

Responsibilities include operating conveyors and forklifts, securing trailers, using WMS/ERP, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining safe practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years forklift experience in warehouse/yard environments.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (wheel loader, conveyors, boom lifts) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates bulk material handling equipment (conveyors, boom lifts, wheel loader, sky track).
• Secures trailers to docks and provides trailer information to the office.
• Operates electric forklift and warehouse equipment safely to move product.
• Uses warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP and maintains inventory accuracy.
• Follows safety procedures and loads/unloads trailers and rail cars safely.
• Cuts and inspects railcar/track for obstructions and ensures equipment is in good condition.
