Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Receiving Operator in Ohio to safely operate forklifts and manage inbound materials within the production and warehouse areas. You will load, unload, and store goods, coordinate with drivers to keep shipments moving, and help maintain accurate records.

This full-time role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions. 1st shift with overtime is available and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on a student visa or visa sponsored by a third party
• Must be 18 years or older to work in a production facility
• Must perform physical duties: bending, kneeling, lifting 50 pounds, climbing, crawling, twisting
• Ability to read and write English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior forklift experience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and equipment to move, store, load, and unload materials in production/warehouse areas
• Handle irregular, bulky, or palletized materials and load trucks
• Interact with truck drivers
• Review and enter material movement data into computer systems
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety and lockout procedures
• Overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice
• Other duties as assigned
