Job summary

Butterball is seeking a safety-conscious forklift operator to move products from production areas to designated destinations within our facilities. You will perform daily forklift checks, handle inventory, and maintain accurate paperwork while communicating with drivers and supervisors to ensure timely, safe operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to obtain PIT certification and comply with GMP/USDA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Experience with handheld scanners preferred.
• Prior forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of safe handling and GMP/USDA standards is important.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift checks daily to ensure safe operation.
• Complete paperwork related to product, orders, placement, inventory.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
• Adhere to USDA and GMP product standards and guidelines.
• Communicate with drivers, coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Account for all products and materials in the assigned area.
• Other duties as assigned.
