Job summary

Butterball in North Carolina is seeking a forklift/warehouse associate to move products safely from production and storage to designated destinations. You will load and unload trucks, operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts, and scan items with a handheld device.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good communication, and the ability to follow GMP and USDA guidelines. PIT certification is preferred and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with handheld scanners and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift checks daily to ensure safe operation.
• Load and unload products, and move stock as directed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and complete paperwork.
• Adhere to USDA and GMP standards and guidelines.
• Communicate with drivers, coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Other duties as assigned.
