Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator in Florence, KY to join our food manufacturing team. This full-time role involves loading, palletizing, and distributing product according to load sheets, while following safety and Good Warehouse Practices.

You'll operate forklifts and assist with occasional inventories, using WMS and SAP ERP systems. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Ability to gain forklift certification and complete cart driver training.
• Ability to operate forklifts and carts in cold/freezing temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Receive product requests from load sheets and pick pallets for loading.
• Operate equipment per GWP and OSHA regulations.
• Operate lift equipment safely to minimize damage to products and racks.
• Report malfunctions of high lift stacker/reach truck to supervisor.
• May assist with periodic inventories as necessary.
