Position Title: Operator II

Reports to: Production Management

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Essential Functions

  1. Operate all equipment as assigned, proficient at all Operator I functions.
  2. Maintain and stock components necessary for production rooms.

Specific Duties, Activities And Responsibilities

  1. Monitor fill operation. Assist line personnel as needed.
  2. Understand and perform start-up and shutdown procedures for each piece of equipment as assigned.
  3. Clean machines.
  4. Move items for QA and Production Coordinators.
  5. Move components to and from warehouse locations as needed.
  6. Keep room staging area safe, neat, and orderly.
  7. Maintain and stock components/materials for assigned room(s).
  8. Remove finished goods, components, scrap pallets, and empty bulk drums from rooms as needed.

Position Requirements

  1. Reports to: Production Superintendent(s) or their designee.
  2. Supervises: None
  3. Education or Equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Knowledge/Skills Requirements

  1. Speak, read and comprehend English
  2. Demonstrate the ability to operate the majority of production machines
  3. Ability to obtain power equipment certification
  4. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
