Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator II for the 2nd shift in Dayton, NJ. This role focuses on building custom orders, transporting merchandise from trailers to storage, and preparing items for shipping.

The position offers a non-rotating 4:00 PM–2:00 AM shift with comprehensive benefits after 30 days. The job requires experience operating a lift truck, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a lift truck for the entire shift.
• Warehouse environment experience preferred.
• Ability to mount/dismount forklift about 15 times per hour.
• Able to lift/move pallets and materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive pull tasks with material details and retrieve the correct item using a lift truck.
• Transport pallets to and from storage locations and trailers.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials on pallets for shipment.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items for shipping.
• Tape and repair damaged packages as needed.
• Raise/lower dock plates as required and follow safety protocols.
• Follow orange cone system for full or empty trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
