Job summary

Shaw Industries Ltd. is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Kent, WA. The role involves building custom orders, transporting merchandise with a forklift, and preparing items for shipment.

Responsibilities include handling pallets, completing required paperwork, and ensuring damaged packages are repaired or re-packaged as needed. This is a non-rotating evening shift with full-time employment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift operation skills and the ability to handle pallets.
• Experience with palletized material movement and loading/unloading.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Build custom orders to fulfill requests.
• Transport merchandise between trailers and storage locations.
• Prepare and package items for shipment.
• Wrap and band materials on pallets.
• Inspect and repair damaged packages as needed.
• Operate dock plates and trailer guidance systems.

This position is located and works out of Kent, WA

$24.69 Hourly

Sunday: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Monday - Thursday 5:00pm-1:30am

Essential Functions

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
