Job summary

Shaw Industries in Kent, WA is seeking a Forklift Operator on the 2nd shift to build and fulfill orders and to transport merchandise between trailers and storage areas for shipping.

The role involves operating a lift truck, loading and unloading, completing paperwork, and preparing shipments. The shift is 8 hours non-rotating, with a pay rate of $24.69 per hour, and the company offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation and sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager

$24.69 Hourly

Sunday: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Monday - Thursday 5:00pm-1:30am
