Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. You will safely operate forklifts, perform order filling or checking, and support inventory accuracy while maintaining productivity and safety.

The role requires 6 months of forklift experience and possession of a valid NFI forklift certification, with an emphasis on detail and basic math skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Olive Branch, MS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment per requirements.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type for loading and shipping.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, customer-service-focused manner.
• Maintains required documentation and reports to support inventory accuracy.
