NFI in Texas is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse using forklifts and related equipment. You may also perform order filler or order checker duties to support productivity while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Preferred 6 months of forklift experience; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred, and you must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification. Basic Excel and computer skills help with inventory records and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience or related equipment experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer service skills and basic math competency.

Responsabilités

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment per requirements.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type for loading/shipment.
• Performs order picking accurately and promptly.
• Moves product from staging to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains documentation for inventory accuracy and security.
• Assists with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns to management promptly.
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills and computer proficiency.
