Overview

Position Summary: The Forklift Operator will operate a forklift to transport product within the warehouse safely and efficiently. This role includes performing receiving and shipping functions, assisting with cycle counts, and physical inventories.

Responsibilities

1. Record product transfers and update the Oracle inventory system using RF barcode scanners or Move Tickets.
2. Operate forklifts safely to prevent damage to goods and equipment.
3. Process inbound and outbound shipments per SOPs.
4. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report issues.
5. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories, reporting variances.
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, reporting hazards and accidents.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to work under supervision and communicate effectively in English.
• Team-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Clean, organized, and alert.
• At least 1 year of forklift and warehousing experience.
• Experience with inventory systems and RF scanners.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of warehousing experience.
