NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. You will operate material handling equipment and may perform order filler or checker duties while maintaining productivity and safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 6 months forklift experience, and the ability to pass the NFI forklift certification. Strong attention to detail and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment per customer and operational requirements.
• Verify correct quantity and product type for loading and shipping.
• Perform order picking in a timely, accurate manner.
• Move product from staging to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through required documentation and reporting.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
• Rotate inventory per company standards and report discrepancies.
• Use RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Report safety concerns promptly to management.
• Demonstrate basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
