UFP Industries in Granger, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material from inventory to production and back, maintaining accurate paperwork and production records while aligning deliveries with the daily schedule. You will load, unload, and transport goods, help reduce bottlenecks, keep yards tidy, and follow safety policies.

No heavy experience required, but forklift licensing and basic math skills are preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must complete forklift licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Mansioni

• Move material in process between stations and label material.
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods and move to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Perform general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Maintain organized rough material and finished goods yards.
• Document production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policy; participate in safety programs.
