Capital Lumber Company is seeking a dependable forklift operator for the Tacoma distribution yard. You will load and unload lumber, stage orders, and assist with inventory while following OSHA and company safety rules.

The role requires forklift certification and the ability to read and communicate in English. Expect outdoor work in varying weather with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork to support timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years experience with forklifts or similar equipment.
• Possesses a valid forklift certification.
• Good knowledge of lumber products and handling procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and move lumber and materials.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment; report safety concerns.
• Read sales orders and correctly pull, stage, and package products.
• Load products onto trailers; ensure accuracy and safety; assist in inventory checks.
