Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Equipment Operator I for our Granite City, IL distribution site. This role operates sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, loads/unloads trailers, and collaborates with a team to meet goals.

Strong attention to detail and safety are essential. The position is on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Hazard awareness and safety procedures for forklift operations.
• Must wear PPE and follow health & safety regulations.
• Ability to read packing/shipping documents and meet attendance requirements.
• Attentive to detail and capable of working in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver motorized material handling equipment per regulations.
• Maintain equipment and report service needs.
• Load and unload products accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet department goals.
• Keep work areas clean and safe and follow daily procedures.
