Job summary

Wieland is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I to operate sit-down forklifts and related material handling equipment in a fast-paced Granite City, IL warehouse. The role is on-site, requiring adherence to safety procedures and accuracy in loading and unloading operations.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, takes initiative, and can work well in a team with attention to detail. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a 7:00 am – 3:30 pm schedule and a weekly pay cycle.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to forklift operations.
• Ability to wear PPE and follow health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver motorized material handling equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and reports service requests as needed.
• Load and unload product, and position equipment for operation.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow procedures.
