Job summary

Schwan's is seeking a Warehouse forklift operator in Salina, KS, offering a starting pay of $19.50 per hour with an additional $2.00 shift differential for the 3 p.m.–6 a.m. window. The role runs on a 1st shift (C Crew) Thursday through Saturday and alternating Wednesdays, with hours from 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year related experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts and lift equipment.
• Willing to obtain forklift certification and SAP/WMS familiarity.
• Comfort working in 30-degree cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and lift equipment to receive, store, and transport palletized products per OSHA safety standards.
• Efficiently pick and stage pallets from storage racks to Forward Pick areas to support timely trailer loading.
• Maintain smooth product flow by ensuring material movements are completed accurately and on time.
• Perform regular equipment checks and report malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain organized storage per Good Warehouse Practices.
