This position moves and loads existing wrecked vehicles, maneuvers RVs and tractor trailers, sets sales weekly, and places inbound vehicles into stock.

Responsibilities

1. Place vehicles in storage locations.
2. Set up upcoming sales.
3. Move wrecked vehicles for inspection, legal, or lot purposes.
4. Load and unload vehicles onto/from trucks.
5. Perform daily equipment maintenance.
6. Stock vehicles in AS400 system.
7. Make proper announcements.
8. Follow safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Work overtime as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass OSHA forklift/heavy equipment certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform other physical activities.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
• Focus and vigilance regarding surroundings and hazards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience.
• Class A license.

Work Environment

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Up to 50% outdoor work.
• Driving and maneuvering forklifts in various conditions.
• Loading and unloading in different weather conditions.

Compensation ranges from $17.69 to $26.54 per hour, with potential additional incentives.
