Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $17.69 - $26.54/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commissions or incentives.

Job Description

This position involves moving and loading wrecked vehicles, maneuvering RVs and tractor trailers, setting sales weekly, and managing inbound vehicles into stock.

1. Place vehicles in storage locations.
2. Set upcoming sales.
3. Move wrecked vehicles for inspection or legal purposes.
4. Load purchased vehicles onto buyers' trucks and unload vehicles from sellers' trucks.
5. Perform daily maintenance on equipment.
6. Stock vehicles in AS400 system.
7. Ensure proper announcements are entered.
8. Follow all safety and health procedures and participate in safety activities.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Work overtime as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience with forklift equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass OSHA forklift/heavy equipment certification, recertified every 3 years.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and sit for prolonged periods.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to stay alert to surroundings and hazards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to use portable terminals.
• Forklift experience.
• Class A license.

Work Environment

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Up to 50% of shift outdoors.
• Driving and maneuvering forklifts in challenging situations.
• Loading and unloading in various weather conditions.
