Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Virginia facility. The role focuses on safely handling large metal piping products in a high-volume warehouse, using sit-down forklifts and RF scanners to pull orders and prepare shipments.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, palletizing, labeling, and assisting with inventory counts to maintain accuracy. You will maintain safety and cleanliness while meeting daily shipping targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly
• Experience with RF scanners for picking and shipping
• Proven track record in high-volume warehouse operations

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, battery-powered forklifts to load/unload trucks.
• Handle large metal piping pieces on the loading dock.
• Pull orders with RF scanner and prepare shipments.
• Move materials using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Perform shipping/receiving tasks and verify shipments.
