Job summary

Andros Group is seeking a Forklift Operator – Production for duties on the Mount Jackson production floor in Virginia. The role focuses on moving materials and finished products, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include safe forklift operation, staging materials for production, inventory counts, and coordinating with the Inventory Control team to ensure timely production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months forklift experience (external candidates).
• Willing to complete a forklift-training class.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 5 days of placement.
• Ability to learn the warehouse management system.
• Prior RF Scanner experience or willingness to learn RF Scanner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Regular attendance and willingness to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and product between warehouse and production lines.
• Scan finished pallets with MO number and warehouse location.
• Stack and store product in designated areas.
• Assist in inventory counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Review Pick Tickets to ensure correct raw materials are staged for orders.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to maintain supply levels for production.
