Snavely Forest Products in North Carolina is seeking a Material Handler to cut, move, and store various materials in our warehouse and yard. You will operate forklifts, load and unload materials, and ensure orders match purchase orders.

The role requires forklift certification, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety guidelines. You will maintain equipment, perform cycle counts, and support yard/warehouse operations in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with chainsaw use and safety procedures.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Critical thinking skills to solve issues under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Forklift experience in warehouse and yard operations.
• Cut product to specified dimensions for shipping.
• Verify the quantity and quality of deliveries.
• Label, scan, and store products correctly.
• Identify and fulfill customer orders.
• Handle returns and complete required documentation.
• Maintain equipment and logs for safety and compliance.
• Cycle counting and identifying inventory issues.
• Communicate issues such as missing or damaged material.
• Keep work areas neat and tidy; perform other duties as assigned.
