Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a leading manufacturing organization in Greenville, NC to hire a Forklift Driver. In this role you will operate forklifts safely to move, stage, and transport finished goods through the facility, with a 12-hour rotating shift.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and can obtain certification. Basic computer and RF scanner skills are preferred, and attention to safety and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification, if required by the plant.
• Basic computer and RF scanner skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stage, and transport finished goods throughout the facility.
• Handle finished goods carefully to prevent product damage and maintain product quality.
• Load pallets of finished goods onto shuttle trailers accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform inventory transactions as needed using an RF scanner and other plant systems.
• Verify product movement, pallet counts, and storage locations to support inventory accuracy.
