Job summary

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in Greenville, NC, seeks a Forklift Operator to support logistics and material handling. Expect a 12-hour rotating shift with emphasis on safety and accuracy, and opportunities for career growth.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience, plus ability to obtain certification. Training, safety procedures, GMP adherence, and RF scanner use are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification, if required by the plant.
• Basic computer and RF scanner skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stage, and transport finished goods.
• Handle finished goods carefully to prevent product damage and maintain quality.
• Load pallets of finished goods onto shuttle trailers accurately and timely.
• Perform inventory transactions using an RF scanner and plant systems.
• Verify product movement, pallet counts, and storage locations to support inventory accuracy.
