Job summary

National Vision is seeking a Fork Lift Operator for our Distribution Center in the United States. The role involves receiving, sorting, and shipping merchandise, using a forklift, RF scanner, and pallet jacks.

You will process orders, verify counts, and move items to stock or delivery areas, while maintaining accuracy and safety. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse and inventory control experience required.
• Math abilities.
• Experience with handtrucks and pallet jacks.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel) is preferred.
• Organized and detail oriented even in a fast pace environment.
• Able to work independently within guidelines.
• Dependable with strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 6-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet jacks; unload and load freight.
• Fill orders from stock and prepare for delivery to stores.
• Process replenishments and customer orders using RF scanner or manually.
• Verify counts against PO and packing slips during unpacking.
• Cross-dock shipments and move inventory within the system.
• Pack and ship products to retail locations; assist with returns.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and quality service.
