Job summary

Sprout is seeking a Forklift Driver to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move IT assets and other materials within our Garland, TX facility.

You will support IT Asset Disposition processes, follow 5S and Lean principles, and help maintain inventory accuracy while upholding safety and quality standards. Fluency in English is required, with forklift certification and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ years forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Forklift certification is required.
• OSHA safety training certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload IT assets and materials within the facility.
• Ensure materials are transported safely and in compliance with safety and operational protocols.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Organize materials in accordance with 5S principles, keeping the work area clean and free of hazards.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory management by moving and storing materials.
• Use handheld scanners or ERP systems to update material movements and inventory locations.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and deliveries by comparing items to bills of lading and customer orders.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE usage and safe forklift operation techniques.
• Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or accidents to the Supervisor.
