Job summary

Sprout is a growing Green company seeking a Forklift Driver to safely operate forklifts and move IT assets within the facility. You will support IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) workflows and help maintain lean, 5S-driven material flow while upholding high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include pre-op checks, inventory updates with scanners/ERP, cycle counting, and ensuring accurate shipments. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) or electronics recycling experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of forklift operations, safety protocols and routine maintenance checks.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems including barcoding and scanning.
• Familiarity with 5S and Lean methodologies in warehouse ops.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic and able to read shipping and inventory documents.
• Fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload IT assets and other materials.
• Ensure safe transport and compliance with safety and operational protocols.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine forklift maintenance.
• Organize materials following 5S principles and keep area clean and hazard-free.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory management with scanners or ERP systems.
• Verify shipment accuracy against bills of lading and customer orders.
• Follow PPE requirements and OSHA/ISO safety standards.
• Report safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in safety training and Kaizen/Lean initiatives to improve processes.
