Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Driver to support production and distribution across retail outlets and warehouse environments. You will operate forklifts and powered equipment to move, load, unload, and count merchandise while maintaining safe, organized operations.

You will need a valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one), knowledge of warehouse processes, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Familiarity with receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping workflows.
• Team collaboration to support daily operations.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform basic math for quantities, weights, and measures.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Follow safety protocols and promote safe work practices.
• Reasoning to solve problems with multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and transport products to storage areas.
• Document and verify inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment with correct quantities.
• Perform order picking and staging to meet service standards.
• Move products between staging areas, outlets, and trailers using powered equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist cycle counts.
