Job summary

Veloz is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse role. You will load, unload, move and stage freight, using handheld scanners to maintain inventory. This is a temporary assignment through Veloz with a 4-day work week and 10-hour shifts, plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load/unload trailers, move freight and stage product.
• Put away and pull product to/from racking and storage locations.
• Use handheld scanners to track product and maintain inventory.
• Inspect forklift pre-shift and report issues.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA guidelines and company policies.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Collaborate with associates, leads and management to keep freight flowing.
• Report damaged product, inventory issues or safety concerns promptly.

About the Role

Veloz is hiring experienced Forklift Operators to keep product moving safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse. You'll load, unload, move and stage freight throughout the facility and help the team hit its daily goals. If you're a skilled, safety-focused operator who takes pride in accurate work, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule

• Full-time, 4 days a week (10-hour shifts), 5:00 PM start
• Overtime as needed. This is a 7-day operation, so schedules may vary.

What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers, move freight and stage product
• Put away and pull product accurately to and from racking and storage locations
• Use handheld scanners to track product and keep inventory accurate
• Inspect your forklift before each shift and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines and company policies
• Keep your work area and aisles clean, organized and safe
• Work with associates, leads and management to keep freight flowing smoothly
• Report damaged product, inventory issues or safety concerns promptly

What You Bring

• 1+ year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting (required)

• Comfort using handheld scanners and basic warehouse systems
• Reliable attendance and availability for a consistent 4-day schedule
• Availability for 2nd shift, with flexibility for overtime
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• $23.04 per hour
