Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for our New Carlisle, IN service center. Starting wage is $24.79 per hour with the 3rd shift schedule (Sun 11p-730a, Tue-Fri 2a-10:30p).

You will move freight safely in and out of 53' trailers, operating a forklift on a roofed dock in a non-climate-controlled area. Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full-time Forklift Operators at our New Carlisle, IN service center. As a Forklift Operator you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
