Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator at our Fresno, CA service center. You will move various freight safely in and out of 53’ trailers and operate a forklift on a covered, non-climate-controlled dock. PTO begins after 90 days and a strong benefits package is offered.

This role requires bending, lifting, reading manifests, and interacting with a computer display. Previous forklift experience and reliability in a fast-paced setting are essential, with some LTL experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience is required; prior steady performance in a similar setting is important.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Some LTL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies during loading/unloading operations.

As a Full Time Forklift Operator , you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
