Job summary

Bray Controls, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc., seeks a Freight Handler/Forklift Operator for our Northwest Houston, TX facility. The role includes pre-shift equipment checks, daily material checklists, and turning in requisitions, plus tracking all cargo on the dock.

Responsibilities include labeling and staging freight, processing transactions in the computer system, maintaining a clean shipping area, and operating forklifts/packing equipment with duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years' experience performing warehouse and materials handling, inventory management, forklift/power equipment operation, and shipping/receiving duties.
• Experienced with standard functions within MS Office applications such as MS Outlook, Excel, Access, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve and remain highly organized and detail oriented.
• Possess strong work ethic.
• Available to work overtime hours when needed.
• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Labeling and staging freight for all carriers and loading and unloading trucks.
• Making transactions in the computer system
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly shipping area
• Will be required to operate various pieces of equipment to include forklifts and packaging equipment
• Perform other duties as required by management.
