Job summary

Bray Controls, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc., seeks a Freight Handler/Forklift Operator for our Northwest Houston facility. You will perform pre-shift checks, daily material checklists and process requisitions, and manage cargo on the dock.

Responsibilities include labeling and staging freight for carriers, loading/unloading trucks, and operating forklifts and packaging equipment. Strong accuracy, teamwork, and readiness for overtime are essential; background screening and compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years' experience in warehouse/materials handling, forklift/power equipment operation, and shipping/receiving.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and remain organized and detail oriented.
• Available to work overtime; immigration sponsorship not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Label and stage freight for all carriers and loading/unloading trucks.
• Make transactions in the computer system.
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly shipping area.
• Operate forklifts and packaging equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
