Job summary

Tindell's, Inc. is seeking a dependable 2nd shift assembler to prepare and ship customer orders in our Knoxville facility. You will assemble orders, stock materials, and help maintain a clean, safe yard and warehouse.

Forklift duties, paperwork handling, and cooperation with the Commodity Center team are essential. The role requires ability to lift 50–100 pounds repeatedly, basic math and reading skills, and clear communication with coworkers.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to do math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
• Knowledge of materials and products.
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders for staging and delivery under supervision.
• Place materials in staging areas and return paperwork.
• Assist unloading and replacing returned merchandise in stock.
• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Keep yard or warehouse safe and organized.
• Maintain housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
• Complete forklift pre-op checklist when assigned.
• Support supervision and other staff as needed.

2nd Shift - $18/hr. 2pm - 10:30pm Mon-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Primary assembler of customer orders for staging and delivery. Receives incoming merchandise and assembles outgoing orders at the direction of the Commodity Center Material Manager. Stocks, maintains, and cleans the facility at the direction of the Commodity Center Manager or Yard Foreman.
• Places material in staging area and return paperwork to appropriate location
• Assists unloading and replacing returned merchandise in stock
• Operates forklift to assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Organizes and secures yard or warehouse for safety
• Maintains housekeeping in yard and warehouse
• Completes forklift pre-op checklist when assigned
• Assists supervisor and other employees as needed

Qualifications
