Job summary

Everlast Roofing, Inc. seeks a Forklift Loader in Indiana to load/unload trucks carrying roofing panels and materials. The role emphasizes safe operation, inventory accuracy, and efficient warehouse flow. Work shifts are 6am–4:30pm, 4x10-hour days with rotating extra day off, Monday–Friday operation.

You will verify loads, organize inventory, maintain a clean workspace, and follow all PPE and safety protocols. Team collaboration and attention to detail are essential for daily success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
• Verify the accuracy of load orders and ensure proper materials handling to prevent damage.
• Stack and organize products safely and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting material movements.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized, storing materials in designated areas.
• Participate in regular housekeeping activities to maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while operating forklifts and handling materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Wear PPE and follow safety instructions.
• Participate in safety trainings and contribute to a safety culture.
• Work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors for smooth operations.
• Identify and report damaged materials to the supervisor.
• Communicate issues to team and management.
• Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.

Overview:

The Forklift – Truck loader will have experience operating forklifts, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. As a Forklift Loader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks carrying roofing panels, coils and other materials, organizing warehouse inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods.

Schedule:

6am-4:30pm (4x10's)

***Operation runs Monday-Friday so candidates will work (4x10's) and then have a day off that rotates every week**

KeyResponsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
