Job summary

48forty Solutions LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Chicago, IL to load and unload pallets and move materials within the plant to keep production flowing efficiently. The role offers a Monday–Friday shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with an hourly pay of $19.00.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of forklift experience and be able to communicate effectively. Willingness to work overtime and to participate in a safety-conscious work environment is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Experience in a warehouse/logistics or related field preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials.
