Job summary

48forty Solutions in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets, move wood, and keep production moving safely. This role offers Monday–Friday daytime shifts with hourly pay of $16.00/hr. Aiming to support efficient plant operations in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll handle pallets, stack finished goods, maintain safe conditions, and communicate effectively with plant personnel. 1–3 years forklift experience preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years forklift experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics preferred in lumber/construction.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
