Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products in a warehouse environment. The role requires operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least 3 months of related experience. Candidates should be able to work varied shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label/sort/wrap/pack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safety-conscious manner per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
