Job summary

SnackCraft in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure safe handling of raw materials and finished goods. You will supply production lines with materials and return remaining items to storage following SnackCraft’s procedures.

Requires high school diploma or GED and OSHA/HILO certification. Operates in a food production/warehouse setting with attention to safety, FEFO/FIFO inventory practices, and teamwork to meet daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hilo Certification (OSHA) required.
• FEFO/FIFO knowledge and inventory handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the example in following GMPs, OSHA Safety, and all procedures.
• Provide production with correct packaging materials, pallets, ingredients, and film.
• Wraps, tags, and transports finished goods to warehouse or staging area.
• Transport materials within the facility and optimize loads.
• Inspect damages to vehicles and manage equipment.
• Adhere to safety programs and production schedules.
• Use FEFO for raw materials and FIFO for finished goods.
• Maintain good housekeeping and consolidate warehouse locations.
• Adhere to allergen control and prevent cross contamination.
