Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Wareham, MA is seeking a warehouse operator to receive, stock, and prepare materials for production lines. You will verify quantities, move pallets, and load shipments from the receiving dock using forklift equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing is a plus!
• High School Diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Receives materials from vendor(s) and places to stock by forklift. Verifies lot and quantity.
• Signs papers indicating correct quantities or weight per load.
• Moves pallets of ingredients and materials to filling lines, warehouse locations, spice room and/or moves full pallets of finished product to storage or warehouse(s).
• Loads orders to be shipped from receiving dock.
• Consolidate required quantity of material, ingredients, or product into specified order lots.
• May require operation of forklift, high lift, order picker, pallet jacks, etc
• Completes safety check on equipment prior to usage including, but not limited to, battery, brakes, lift controls, and all safety devices.
• Performs warehouse cleaning duties including keeping work area neat and orderly at all times.
